German pump technology for sewage plants in Algeria
(Radolfzell/Bottrop) Construction of four new sewage plants is currently underway in Algeria and pumps from Allweiler AG are playing key roles. Allweiler worked with the plant builder to deliver 48 progressing cavity pumps and macerators. Technological benefits of Allweiler pumps and the company's on-site presence were two big reasons why Allweiler was awarded the contract.

Immersed lube-oil pump with higher power
(Radolfzell/Germany) Allweiler AG has expanded the performance range of its ALLUB® RUV vertically immersed screw pump. Maximum capacity has been boosted to 1300 l/min. or more than 30-percent higher than before. The pump/motor assembly is delivered complete with covering plate and pipework, making it ready for installation in an oil reservoir.

Allweiler delivers its largest lube-oil module to Finnish power plant
(Radolfzell/Germany) The Pump Skid business segment of Allweiler AG was chosen to deliver the entire lubrication-oil module for Finland’s Olkiluoto 3, the world’s largest power plant. Four Allweiler centrifugal pumps will handle pumping of lubrication oil. The lubrication oil tank holds 123 m3. It is the largest unit of this type that Allweiler has ever delivered. Planning for the system began in 2004. The power plant will generate 1600 MW and is expected to go on-line in 2010.

Large orders for Allweiler pump skids
(Radolfzell/Germany) In September 2007, the Pump Skid business segment of Allweiler AG received large orders from several global customers. Total value of the orders is in the double-digit million range. Allweiler AG of Germany manufactures ready-to-use fuel and lubricating-oil skids for gas and steam turbines in power plants. Its largest customer is Siemens AG.

New high-performance pump for heat transfer liquids
(Radolfzell) At WTT Expo, a trade fair for heat exchangers and heat-transfer technology, Allweiler AG will introduce its new "ALLHEAT 1000", a specially-designed centrifugal pump for moving thermal oils. The new pump's maximum delivery head is 100 m and maximum capacity is 1450 m3/h. The new pump expands the performance range of the "ALLHEAT" product family for a variety of heat transfer liquids like oils, water, glycol, and fused salt baths.

Richmond, VA, USA, January 31, 2007. Colfax Corporation announced today it has completed its acquisition of Lubrication Systems Company (LSC) in Houston, Texas from shareholders of LSC. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Allweiler delivers 20 stainless soy-oil pumps to Russia
major order with Allweiler AG for twenty stainless-steel centrifugal pumps that will be used to move soy oil. The customer placed its initial order because Allweiler was able to immediately meet all technical specifications as well as the additional requirements of the plant operator.

Allweiler supplies heaviest lubricating modules for Hitachi
(Radolfzell/Germany) Babcock-Hitachi Europe GmbH (BHE) is expanding its two Hungarian brown-coal and gas power stations, Matra and Nyiregyhaza, with a total of three Hitachi gas turbine systems. The Plant Construction Division of Allweiler AG is to supply the lubricating oil plants for all of the turbines. Allweiler will install these modules ready-for-use, complete with gearbox, torque converter and starter motor.

Allweiler: A successful 2005 and clear growth in the first half of 2006
(Radolfzell/Germany) Allweiler concluded 2005 very successfully, with an increased turnover of 156 million Euro and an increase in total order value of 12 percent. During the first six months of 2006, the company achieved even greater increases. Total order value again increased by a two-digit figure in comparison with the previous year. As in 2005, further new positions are planned in all branches in 2006.

New lubricating, anti-heeling and fire extinguishing pumps from Allweiler
(Radolfzell/Germany) Allweiler AG, the oldest German pump manufacturer, will present three new pumps at this year's SMM in Hamburg (Hall A2, Stand 172). These include a lubricating centrifugal pump for diesel engines with a large lubricating oil requirement, a high-performance anti-heeling trimming pump and a newly developed fire extinguishing pump.

Anti-heeling pump now with higher performance
(Radolfzell/Germany) Allweiler AG has expanded the range of applications for its ALLTRIMM anti-heeling pump. The improved pump has the same dimensions but maximum flow rate is one-third higher at 1300 m3/hour. It is also available in an explosion-protected version. The pump is especially well suited for use in container ships, cruise ships, and roll-on/roll-off vessels.

New technologically advanced emulsion
(Radolfzell, Germany) Allweiler AG introduces the “EMTEC-A”, a screw pump based on its proven, eight-year-old EMTEC series. The new pump is designed specifically for moving emulsions and cooling lubricants, but extra-hard special steel and cast iron ensure safety and a high level of wear resistance even when pumping liquids that contain abrasives.

Better protection thanks to water-soluble varnish
(Radolfzell/Germany) Allweiler AG has increased the quality of their priming coats while at the same time reducing consumption of conventional solvents. By switching to water-soluble varnish, the company will additionally reduce emissions of conventional solvents by eight tons per year.

Colfax and Allweiler Making Progress in Chinese and Indian Markets
(Radolfzell/Germany) Allweiler AG has been producing pump parts at its own factory in Wuxi, China since the beginning of October. Starting in 2006, this plant will manufacture complete pumps for the Asian market. Having a production site in China makes it much easier for Allweiler to gain ground in this market.

New Sand Mixer Installed
(Radolfzell/Germany) On October 7, ALLWEILER AG installed a new sand mixer at its Radolfzell, Germany foundry. The new machine is just one aspect of a comprehensive effort to modernize the foundry. In total, ALLWEILER will invest 650,000 euro in modernization this year.

Focusing on Heat-Transfer Pumps
(Radolfzell/Germany) Allweiler AG announces its intention to participate in WTT Expo, the first trade fair to focus on heattransfer and heat-carrier engineering, from October 4 through 6 in Karlsruhe, Germany. Allweiler acquired this capability by taking over parts of the company New-York Hamburger Gummi-Waaren Compagnie AG. They then modernized the existing facilities to make them more environmentally friendly and energy.

(Radolfzell/Germany) On September 16, Allweiler AG will host a specialty trade fair at their Radolfzell headquarters in southern Germany. The exhibits and presentations will focus on applications for pumps and ready-to-use components in power plants. Allweiler: After a successful 2004 new hiring and a good start in 2005
(Radolfzell/Germany) With sales virtually unchanged, Allweiler AG closed the year 2004 with a significantly higher level of incoming orders and an order backlog. During the first five months of 2005, the company bucked the general trend with incoming orders that were 10 percent higher than the previous year and 15 percent higher than projected. As a result, Allweiler plans to add ten new employees this year.

The Executive Board positions at Allweiler AG were rearranged in mid-March 2005. Klaus Stahlmann is now the CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board and Frank Kirchner is the CFO and Member of the Executive Board. Campbell Walton is no longer a member of the company's Executive Board.

Flygt taking over Allweiler distribution in Australia
Effective January 1, ITT Flygt has taken over the distribution of Allweiler’s progressing cavity pumps, peristaltic pumps, rotary lobe pumps, and macerators in the Australian market. This Swedish pump manufacturer is already selling Allweiler AG wastewater pumps under a private label in several non-European countries.

Allweiler produces its own stators
