ALLSPEED®   - Dynamic control system without valves

ALLSPEED® forgoes the use of valves and enables use of smaller pumps and a smaller motor. Standard cage rotor motors may be used without external ventilation. ALLSPEED® augments the EMTEC® series, which is designed specifically for pumping coolants in tool machines.
The highly dynamic control system makes valves unnecessary and drastically lowers expenses for energy and maintenance.

The core element of ALLSPEED® is a control algorithm developed by ALLWEILER GmbH:

  • Real-time adaptive control of the frequency converter.
  • The pump adapts to specific tools with a reaction time of less than 500 ms.
  • Speed jumps of up to 5000 1/min.
  • Pressure differences of up to 120 bar.

  • Approach the tool's operating points without overshoots and continuous readjustments.
  • The pump stops as soon as pumping of coolant is stopped.
  • Standby losses and standby costs are virtually zero.
  • Additional monitoring of motor temperature, capacity adjustment in marginal areas, and warning outputs.

Use of ALLSPEED® in conjunction with EMTEC® pumps significantly lowers energy costs and results in additional financial benefits. As an all-around plug-and-play system without expenses for programming and parameterization, one pump size is able to handle a very wide range of pressures and capacities. In addition, operators can now use low-pulsation screw pumps instead of the more common centrifugal pumps up to 25 bar. Grinding applications are a prime example. Energy savings can be as high as 75%. ALLSPEED® replaces the valves used in conventional controllers, eliminating wearing parts and producing a gentle pumping action that protects the entire installation. As a result, maintenance intervals for the pump, controller, and piping are extended. In general, the pump is subject to smaller loads because it operates for shorter periods of time and at a lower average speed.
